ShikaTema Part 2
   ::Close::Chapter 1:: A New Beginning::
"Shikamaru?" she asked in panic.
"What? What's wrong?" he said in alarm
"Take her over to Gaara's, it's time"
"Ok, wait what already?"
"Hurry up, I'll be in the car"
"Sure, fine Temari"
Temari walked down to the car in a little pain, but she knew it was just the beginning; the pain would be more intense in a little while.
'Were is he Gaara only lives a couple doors down?' she thought to her self
A moment later he showed up,
"Sorry Gaara wanted to know what was happening"
"Oh, that explains it" she paused "Get going"
"Ok, ok, troublesome women" he muttered the last part so she wouldn't hear it.
The drive to the hospital was short but painful on Temari's half. When they got there Temari was sent to the delivery room to be prepped and ready. Shikamaru on the other hand was not as exited then the last time, he thought of his hand that still hasn't recovered from the last time.
'God, my hand still hurts, and it was over 2 years ago. I feel so sorry for Sasuke'
He went to Temari's room just in time.
"Ok Mrs. Nara you can start to push now" said the doctor.
About Half an Hour Later:
"Shikamaru, you b****, you did this to me!", "I'm going to kill you when we are through here!" , "Oh GOD this hurts, if I live through this you are going to pay" comments like these happened for a long while from Temari.
4 Hours Later:
The swearing stopped and the hand crushing as well due to the sound of the first cry from a new born.
"Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Nara, you have a new son"
When the doctor told them this, all of a sudden you hear a gasp from Temari then silence. Temari passed out from the heart warming news and plus from all of the pain took its toll on her too. The room was vacant excluding Temari and her new born son, all was quiet, from both because they were both soundly asleep, there was no strain, no panic, no urgent missions or calls to worry about, the only thing that was important was that silence of that hour, the minute and that very second.
Shikamaru entered the quiet and peaceful room and walked over to the chair that was placed next to Temari's bed, he stared out the window for a while remembering the old hill he used to lay upon to watch the clouds go by to wonder the blue skies. He thought of the kiss he gave Temari on their one year anniversary (dating). Then their wedding day watching Temari walk down the aisle and the light of the sun that shown upon her, making her glow.  
As he was remembering his cherished memories, his new born son woke, but did not cry long because he some how knew he was safe, just because he was in the arms of the man he would soon call father.
Hours passed Temari and their son where fast asleep yet again Shikamaru walked over to Temari's bedside and held her hand. He sat down while holding her soft hand, despite being a rough ninja like her self.
Around 11 pm Temari started to stir in her sleep, to Shikamaru she sounded uncomfortable, so he reached over to touch her cheek. When he leaned over, Temari's eyes started to open, he looked down to see her eyes dancing with joy.
"Hey sleepy head" he whispered
"Hey"
"How are you feeling?" he asked as he sat back down
"Not to great, I'm really hungry though"
"I'll go get the nurse so she can bring you some food" "Thank you" she started to doze off again.
Shikamaru was almost at the door when heard the sound he NEVER wanted to hear in his life. The beeping of the heart rate machine go flat.
"Noooooooo!!"  Roared Shikamaru.
